Principal Consultant
David Schlum II is a leading authority in environmental diagnostics and building science in Southeast Michigan. As the founder of EnviroHealth Diagnostics, David provides a boutique, independent consulting experience that bridges the gap between complex environmental data and human health.
With over a decade of hands-on experience in building systems and remediation—including the successful leadership of a multi-location regional firm—David recognized a critical need for truly independent, clinical-grade testing. EnviroHealth Diagnostics was born from that vision: a firm where the person performing the inspection is the expert who owns the company.
Independent Oversight & Technical Protocols
David is a CIEC Board Certified consultant specializing in high-level indoor air quality forensics, including ERMI, VOC, and mycotoxin analysis. Beyond diagnostic testing, he is an expert in developing comprehensive remediation protocols. These protocols serve as the master blueprint for restoration, providing contractors with precise, step-by-step instructions to ensure a property is returned to a healthy state. By maintaining a single-inspector model, David ensures that every diagnostic report and remediation protocol is crafted with clinical precision, free from the conflicts of interest often found in the "test and fix" industry.
"I don't just provide data; I provide the technical roadmap required to protect your health and restore your environment."
